How Do I Sign Up?

If you would like to join the Ram Marching Band simply email Mr. Moore at Mmoore@mail.badinhs.org and you'll receive more information.

Positions are open for:

- all woodwind instruments

- all brass instruments

- marching "battery" percussion (snare drum, quad / quint toms, bass drums, cymbals)

- non-marching "pit" percussion (trap set, marimba, xylophone, timpani, etc)

- other "pit" instruments (electric guitar, electric bass, keyboard)

- Auxiliary (Color Guard, twirler / majorette)

- equipment crew

All Marching Band and Color Guard members are eligible for the 2009 Chicago trip!

Marching Band Summer Schedule

Here's the Summer 2008 schedule for the Badin Ram Marching Band:

Tuesday, July 1, 2008: Rehearsal for Hamilton Independence Day Parade 9:00 AM - Noon at Badin Music Room

Thursday, July 3, 2008: Rehearsal for Hamilton Independence Day Parade 9:00 AM - Noon at Badin Music Room

**Rookie marchers should attend BOTH rehearsals in order to participate in the parade. Veteran marchers must attend AT LEAST ONE of the two rehearsals.**

Friday, July 4, 2008: Hamilton Independence Day Parade. Report times and more information TBA.

Band Camp 2008:

Monday, August 11 - Saturday, August 16, 2008 - 8:00 AM to Noon at Badin High School

All Marching Band and Color Guard members should attend Band Camp. These rehearsals will focus on marching fundamentals and learning the drill (marching routines), music and Color Guard routines for the Competition Program.

Mini Camp 2008:

Monday, August 18 - Wednesday, August 20, 2008 - 6:00 to 8:00 PM

All Marching Band and Color Guard members, including students who are in Concert Band and intend to perform for the first two football games, should attend these rehearsals. The focus of these rehearsals will be Pregame and Halftime marching and music for the first two football games and continuing to learn the Competition program.

The cost of Band Camp this year is $50.00 per student.
